How to make “Gujarati Dal”:
(1) Take 120gm pigeon pea & water as required and let it Boil to develop sour taste add lemon/cocum as required, Now stir and Boil to Obtain Required texture of Dal. to develop sweet taste add sugar/Jaggery as required and add 6gm of shakti Gujarati Dal-veg masala
(2) Take 2-3 tbsp oil in another vessel and heat it, add mustard seeds, Fenugreek seeds & coriander-cumin powder & saute it.
(3) Now add the mix from second vessel into the first vessel of Dal mix and Let it cook for 10-15 minutes, let it cool
Shakti Gujrati Dal Veg Masala Can be used in recipies of Gujarat vagetables like,
(1) Ringad – Batata
(2) Tameta – Batata
(3) Lasaniya – Batata
(4) Bharela – Ringad
(5) Vatana – Batata
(6) kathols….like Desi-val, Chole-Chana , Mug etc……
No need to add Red Chilli Powder in given above vegetables, still to make it more spicy you can add it.
